Its research activities are anchored in Chemistry, including interdisciplinary projects at the interface of Physics and Life Sciences. Its 140 members, including permanent staff, PhD students, post-doc researchers and interns lead a research activities encompassing several topics: method developments in analytical chemistry, modelling and time-resolved spectro-imaging, chemistry under ionizing radiation, spectroscopy and photo-induced processes, nano-objects : synthesis, characterization, applications, redox biology and biological analysis.
