LIDYL -Laboratoire Interactions, Dynamiques et Lasers- is a CEA research laboratory within the Université Paris-Saclay.
Research programs at LIDYL aim to understand the fundamental processes involved in light-matter interactions and their applications.
Researchers develop and use laser-derived light and particle sources to study a variety of phenomena and systems ranging from attosecond electronic dynamics in the simplest atoms and molecules, to laser-induced relativistic plasmas, ultrafast spin dynamics in solids and the development of innovative technologies for new radiotherapies.
Advanced spectroscopies : from the gas phase to the condensed matter, Attophysics, Electron dynamics, High-intensity laser-matter interaction, Interactions laser-plasmas, Light and particle sources, Light-matter interaction, New extreme laser sources (from ultrastrong to ultrashort), Non-linear optics, Novel states of light polarisation, Physics under high fields, Spectroscopy and imaging, Spintronics and nanomagnetism, Structure and dynamics of the condensed matter state, Topological insulators, Ultrafast dynamics
